MS Dhoni was born in Ranchi on 7th July 1981 Dhoni got married to his classmate and good friend Sakshi Rawat on July 4 2010. At the time of marriage Sakshi was studying Hotel Management and working as a trainee in the Taj hotel. Dhoni studied at DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, also he was playing badminton and football for his school team. He was selected as a goal keeper at district level in football. After his 10th standard exam Dhoni clearly focus on cricket and just because of his good skills in wicket-keeping, he had performed well in his domestic career but, In Vinoo Makad Under-16 Trophy he was special performance. During 2001 to 2003 Dhoni also worked as a Train Ticket Examiner at Kanpur railway.
Dhoni was noticed first time by everyone in 2003-04 season when he was playing for India A team. In this tournament Dhoni’s performance was mind blowing, First time he was picked as wicket-keeper/batsman in India A team for the tour of Zimbabwe and Kenya. In this series Dhoni scored 362 runs with 2 back to back centuries and 1 half century in just 6 innings, In against Zimbabwe A, Pakistan A. Due to such kind of performance by Dhoni, he got attention of Indian Skipper Sourav Ganguly. Finally Nov 2005 Dhoni got chance in international cricket first time as a wicket-keeper/batsman.

In 2005 because of good performance against Sri Lanka Dhoni replace Dinesh Karthik in Test match and make his debuts in test cricket as a wicket-keeper/batsman. Dhoni’s debut match was got canceled due to rain when was in very critical condition at 30. Dhoni scored his first half century in just his second test match, he score 72 runs in only 52 runs. Dhoni had played many classical innings for India in many times save team loss. After the retirement of Anil Kumble from test cricket Dhoni had the responsibility of captaincy.

Chennai, Mar 29: Chennai Super Kings are likely to have a new skipper for the seventh edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 7) with MS Dhoni offering to quit captaincy following controversies around the franchise. According to "The Times of India" report today, Dhoni is "extremely disappointed and annoyed" by reports of his name being dragged into spot-fixing allegations. "As of now, it has not been accepted but two parties are still in discussion and it may happen very soon," the newspaper quoted a source as saying. "Dhoni felt that the recent developments have spoilt his image. That is why he wants to quit from both the posts," the source added. Dhoni has also decided to resign as Vice-President of India Cements. CSK is owned by India Cements. BCCI President N Srinivasan is the Managing Director of India Cements. Dhoni, who is currently leading the Indian team in Bangladesh at the ICC World Twenty20 has already had discussions with Srinivasan. "He had a discussion with India Cements boss N Srinivasan over phone on Friday morning and requested that his resignation from the VP's post be accepted and that he be relieved from CSK captaincy," the report said. CSK has been led by Dhoni since the inaugural IPL in 2008. He took them to the title twice and also to Champions League T20 win.
Dhoni was contracted by the Chennai Super Kings for 1.5 Million USD. This made him the most expensive player in the IPL for the first season auctions. In the next season CSK played good matches having many big innings but alt last CSK lost in Semi-Finals, In 3rd and 4th season consecutively win the Champions tag IPL during this season they also won the tag of Champions League T-20 in 2010. The Chennai Super Kings are the most successful side in the history of IPL, being winner twice and reaching the finals five times.
